About OPBC: Statement of vision & mission We believe that as a fellowship, God has given us a vision for the future; we are called to 'go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.' Matthew 28 : 19 - 20 As a church we are : Praising God Preaching Christ, Preparing the People, Proclaiming the Good News. As we 'go along in our lives' it is our aim to: Teach - Jesus Show - Jesus Tell - Jesus Do - Jesus Through four key areas of ministry: Prayer Bible Study Care Ministry Evangelism As we seek to live out the mission and command of Jesus himself, we are aware of our own need of God's enabling power. 'That power is like the working of his mighty strength, which he exerted in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms...' Ephesians 1 : 19 - 20 We therefore accept that we must of necessity seek the fullness and empowering of the Holy Spirit in our lives, as individuals and as a fellowship for the glory of God.
