OPBC is located in Moss Lane, in the Orrell Park area of Liverpool.
The church can be reached by train, car or bus.
By Train
Catch a Northern Line train on the Liverpool-Ormskirk route.
(In Liverpool city centre these trains stop at Central and
Moorfields stations.)
Alight from the train at Orrell Park
Station. At the station exit, turn left along Moss Lane and
follow this road for one third of a mile (about half a Km).
OPBC is on the left, just after the Cuckoo public house.

By Car
From the north or south join the A59. From the north this road
passes through Preston and Ormskirk and has a junction with
the M57 and M58 motorways. From the south the road starts
near Liverpool City Centre and has junctions with both Mersey
Tunnels (from Wallasey and Birkenhead).
Look out for the junction (traffic lights) with the A566.
Coming from the north this junction is a mile from Aintree
Racecourse and you turn right; from the south the junction is
0.8 miles past Walton Hospital and you turn left. Up the hill
and over the railway bridge, take the left fork past Orrell Park
Station. Follow the main road for one third of a mile. OPBC is
on the left.

By Bus
Two buses stop right outside the church.
No. 300 starts at No.9 bus stop in Queen's Square, Liverpool
Centre.
No. 341 starts at No.10 bus stop in Paradise Street, also in the
City Centre.
Nos. 30, 311 and 345, all starting from No.9 bus stop in
Queen's Square, stop about half a mile from the church. Alight
opposite St. John's church in Rice Lane. Walk towards the
traffic lights and turn left up the hill, following the sign for
Orrell Park Station. Over the railway bridge take the left fork
and follow the main road (Moss Lane). OPBC is on the left
after a third of a mile.
Note that all bus details are correct at end November 2000. Visitors are advised to check
accuracy nearer the time of their journey.
